This is a great event for all members, just drive your car on regular roads and find your way to the finish point where we will usually have some type of social event. Registion is desired but we have not had to turn anyone away.  For events that have a social after we do like to have numbers to plan for food etc.

What is a Rally?
The objective of a rally is to follow a course, on public roads, to the precise detail specified in the rules. Each team will be required to have a driver and a navigator. The navigator will be given a packet consisting of directions and clues to follow to reach the destination. In some rallies there will be checkpoints along the way. We will be holding several types of rallies, in various combinations. A rally typically takes between two and three hours and covers approximately sixty miles. Our rallies this year will be held on the morning of our scheduled social events and will end at the location of these events. The types of rallies are as follows:

Photo Rally
Each team will be given a set of directions along with some photographs. The object of the rally is to locate the items in the photographs, and record the mileage where the object is located.

Gimmick Rally
Each team will be given a set of directions along with some word clues. The object of the rally is to locate the clues along the route.

Poker Rally

Each team will be given a set of directions. Along the route there will be five checkpoints where each team will receive one card from a deck of standard playing cards. One card will be handed out at the start of the rally and one card will be handed out at the end of the rally, for a total of seven cards. Each team will then make their best poker hand using five of the seven cards.

Prizes

Prizes will be given to the top three teams in each rally, within each rally type. Additionally, points will be totaled over Rally season and prizes will awarded to the Rally Champion and the Runner Up.
